Our Team

Mike is the CEO of Dickerson Group Benefits Co. He has been a benefits consultant since 1984. With his knowledge, integrity and values, Mike stands by the services he provides and holds himself accountable for his clients' benefit programs. Mike specializes in containing costs of medical insurance while preserving competitive benefits.



Mike majored in economics at Western Michigan University and was insurance licensed in 1984. Mike is Real Estate licensed and securities licensed (Series 6 and 63). He is also a registered representative with Capital Analysts, Inc.



Mike and Kathe have two children. They are active in their church and a number of charitable organizations throughout Metro Detroit. Mike and his family live an active outdoor life.

Mark is the President of Dickerson Group Benefits Co. Mark started in the health insurance industry right out of college in 1984 after completing a three-year contract with Mass Mutual. He also received his series 6 and 63 securities licenses during that period. Mark decided to join the Dickerson Group in 1988. His objective was to diversify the agency's focus from individual lines of insurance to the employee benefits group market. Through his leadership, the company's market share in employee benefit consulting has grown to the level of a major player in the Midwest. Mark also serves on agent advisory boards with a number of insurance companies. 



Mark attended Hillsdale College and the University of Detroit, where he majored in accounting and finance.



Mark and his wife Robin live in Beverly Hills, Michigan with their two sons. They are actively involved with various local charities and participate in coaching sports for children.
